It's been foreeeeeeever!!!

So, I've been soooo out of the blogging loop lately. My hubbie and I bought a new house (yippee!) and I will be posting pictures shortly.

It's going to be a BLAST to blog about it because there are a ton of makeovers happening. I'm currently picking out paint colors, and the only thing we've really decided on is a gray for the living room!

Benjamin Moore Imperial Gray:

But I desperately need help! I'm looking for a cream, a smoky green/blue and a lovely darker warm gray all Benjamin Moore.

I find it so much easier to pick out fictional colors that actually commit to my own. I had it all planned out, but my adorably picky husband pretty much exnayed all of my fantasy colors, of which included a peacock deep turquoise for the entryway. So I'm at a loss and super frustrated.

  3. I just painted my dining room Anchor Gray by Benjamin Moore and used turquoise as an accent. I would have liked to paint the walls turq. too, but hubby didn't go for it either. So, I painted two end dining chairs turq. I have a couple paintings with turq. in them too. So we both had our way. You should check out the house of turquoise blog for accent ideas. I will post pics in a day or two.

Another nice gray is Wet Concrete by Bejamin Moore. It has a little brown in it though. I also like Silver Fox.

I like a nice warm cream. My favorite is Desert Tan by Benjamin Moore. Or Easter Lily by Glidden.

As for a smoky green blue, I am at a loss. Benjamin Moore paint is the best. If you want to save a couple dollars, tell them to mix it in the contractor grade (Super Spec.) It is just as good as the top of the line. Joseph's Paint has the best customer service in town.
